This is Just the First Step

It wasn’t hard identifying website, books, and other sources for you to turn to in deepening your understanding of peacebuilding.

That’s not the case when it comes to suggesting things you can.

That’s not because there is a shortage of things for you to do.

Quite the opposite.

Because we know nothing about you–where you live, what you care about, what you do for a living, what you care about, and even how much time you have at your disposal. All we can do is give you these sets of general suggestions. They are followed by a form that we suspect that most visitors will fill out which will end up with the Peacebuilding Starts at Home Help Desk. Someone from our team will ge3 back to you, usually withing 24 hours.

At that point, we can begin shaping your journey together.

Everyday Peacebuilders

This wonderful site is worth spending a lot of time esxploring. Thius link goes to a list of ten kinds of things that you can do.

But be sure to poke around the rest of the site to find other things you can do.

Five Things You Can Do

Our staff put together a list of five general steps you can take. Very general. We will be glad to help you make these specific.

Just fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

The Weave Trust Map

Among the many wonderful things the Weave Project has done is to create its Trust Map that provides data at the zip code and even the census tract level.

Check it out to see what is happening in your part of the world, perhaps even in your neighborhood.

There is a good chance that you won’t find what you are looking for in the above sites. If so, just send us an email and will get back to you as soon as possible–usually within 24 hours. At that point, we will figure out how we can help you find the on ramps that make sense for you, whoever or wherever you are.
